Healthcare Trust At the Catholic Insurance Service Ltd., we continually review the risks faced by our clients to ensure that our products and services continue to meet your evolving needs. We recognised that, due to the ageing clerical population, private health care was becoming prohibitively expensive and long absences as a result of illness were impacting on parishes. In response, we approached the Catholic National Mutual Ltd. (‘CNM’) to work together to create a private healthcare trust.
Membership of the Catholic Dioceses Healthcare Trust is available to all Catholic Dioceses and Bishops’ Conferences which participate in the CIS Scheme. Catholic Insurance Service Ltd. and CNM are the Trustees of the Healthcare Trust, which is managed by specialist healthcare administrators and provides private health care for clergy, as well as lay employees at the discretion of each organisation.
